Operation Abercrombie

It was a brief raid of 2 hours on land to recognize coastal defenses, take prisoners, destroy a battery of searchlights and damage the defenses. Composed of 100 no men. 4 Commando and 50 men of the Canadian Carleton and York Regiment led by Lord Lovat. This operation will serve as feedback for the landing on Dieppe, the famous Jubilee operation in August 1942.
